How Often Do You Write?

July 9, 2016 By Will Casel Brown 1 Comment

This will be the first entry in a series of posts where I answer questions on a variety of topics. This will include questions on my writing life, current books, story and character origins, etc.

june_calendarI’m still experimenting with my writing schedule as I’m working through my current book, Hero Ground Zero, so what I’m writing now may evolve into something completely different a few months, or even days, from now.

Right now, I’m making a concerted effort to write every day at least once a day. Some days are better than others and I’m able to squeeze three thirty minute sessions in, but other days are a challenge and I can barely get 200 words in. So far, as of this writing, I’ve written every day since June 2nd when I started Hero Ground Zero.

I’m perfectly fine if I miss a day as long as I get back on track. Having long breaks between writing sessions usually stretch out into multiple days of long breaks and can quickly get me off track.
